Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice | Norfolk
Imagine a veterinary practice that truly values your well-being and professional development.
We’re working with a fully independent, RCVS-accredited hospital in Norfolk that’s looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, supportive, and well-established practice that genuinely puts its people first.
About the Practice:
Our client operates both a state-of-the-art hospital and a nearby general practice, supported by a large and experienced clinical team of vets, nurses, and a talented support function. The practice is beautifully designed and exceptionally well-equipped, offering everything you need to deliver outstanding care.
Why This Role Stands Out:
- Salary up to £75k FTE DOE
- True Clinical Focus: 20-minute consults even for routine appointments, with theatre days reserved exclusively for surgery.
- Work-Life Balance: The practice closes for a full hour each day to ensure everyone can enjoy a proper lunch break.
- Genuine Support: Mental health and well-being are taken seriously, with internal and external support in place from day one.
- Professional Development: CPD allowance is uncapped (to be discussed), and protected study time is genuinely protected.
- Relocation Friendly: accommodation can be provided for those relocating to the area.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with proven experience delivering high-quality care.
- Strong communication skills to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a supportive, team-driven environment.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
The Right Fit:
We’re looking for a vet who thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment with a strong team ethos. Whether you're early in your career or more experienced, this role offers the chance to grow and flourish in a practice that encourages autonomy and celebrates development.
